Title

We have half-decided on the title of our project, we are now working under the name of "Static"

Creepy, eh?

Shooting

When shooting the sequence we will need to think about the following things:

Different range of shoots. If we are shooting a girl sitting in a chair tied up, use various sides of the room, use different angles of the person. close ups of the hands/feet tied to the chair.

Use slow panning to reflect a calm/creapy atmosphere. For example in the middle of the sequence when the vilan is prepearing the tools, the shots will be slow and pann across the room.

On the day of the shoot we are going to shoot extra footage because we need to make sure we have all the shoots before we leave the area, because it will be hard to go back to the site, as it is in a remote location, and the weather may change.

First Final Cut.

This is our Anamatic.
Please do watch it... even though the beginning is really long and filled with music, which we made on 'GarageBand'.

This is just a basic outline of what our shots and going to include.

Storyline

Our storyline is pretty vague at this point because there is no need for indepth introduction to the characters beause we are only making the title sequence. But we are going to follow the storyline of most 'horror' thrillers with one character as the victim and the other as the psychologically deranged killer.

From the start of our title sequence you ot will be pretty obbious who is which character, but if we were creating the full film there could be room for a twist, like many other 'horror' thrillers.

Work in progress..

Our storyboard in underway in Final Cut. we're currently adding effects to illustrate the cmera movement we may use in our scene. And also trying to get the music in time with the aesthetic of the piece and editing it accordingly.
Next we're going to start thinking about Location and a name for our film. The scene looks to take place in some sort of decrepid barn, but we're debating the idea of the scene taking place in a forest (with a few minor changes to the script, in that case) or a large, empty warehouse. We also are thinking about the costumes required, as they are going to speak for our character's personality because there's no dialogue within our scene. And, how we're going to pull off some of our ideas expressed in the planned storyline of our scene. For example, the bright light shined from an uknown source into the protagonist's face.
